We all have behaviors that show up in our relationships—
Some we choose with intention.
Others just… run on autopilot.
This week, take a moment to reflect:
🧠 What’s one behavior you’ve noticed in how you interact with friends, family, or colleagues?
Here are three common behavioral patterns that tend to surface in relationships:
• The Fixer – Jumps in to solve problems, often before the other person even asks.
• The People-Pleaser – Avoids conflict, strives for harmony, and says “yes” even when it should be a “no.”
• The Lone Wolf – Keeps emotions and challenges private, valuing independence over vulnerability.
When I first started working for myself as a coach—just me, no team—I noticed something about how I was showing up. I had this habit of jumping straight into fix-it mode the moment someone started sharing. But not everyone wants advice. Sometimes, people just want to talk… and be heard…Duh…😊
✍️ This Week’s Journal Prompt:
Think back to a recent conversation with a friend, colleague, or loved one.
• What behavior showed up in you? Were you a Fixer, a People-Pleaser, or a Lone Wolf?
• How did that behavior affect the conversation—or the relationship dynamic?
• If you could approach it differently next time, what might you change?
• Are you trying to solve problems, keep the peace, or guard your independence?
Awareness is key.
Once you recognize your patterns, you can begin to choose how you show up—with intention, not just reaction.
