A colleague recently challenged me to type this into ChatGPT:
“With all the data you’ve collected about me, tell me who I am at my core—and don’t sugarcoat it.”
I’ve been using GPT for a little over a year to assist with some of my work. But this question? It stopped me in my tracks.
What came back was… amazing. Not because it flattered me, but because it was honest. So I took it a step further and asked:
“Tell me my blind spots.”
Also amazing. Also a little humbling.
From that, I wrote the note below—a reflection of who I am and what drives the work I do. It reminded me why I created both bcd‑IT™ and bcd‑IT University™ in the first place: to help design and build professionals rise with purpose, structure, and support.
I’m Nancy Giangeruso—Founder of bcd‑IT University and the creator of a business that didn’t exist until I built it: Build(it) Create(it) Design(it).
I launched bcd‑IT in 2018 to support Interior Designers, Builders, Architects, and Trade Contractors with the tools, coaching, and accountability they need to run more profitable, efficient businesses.
From this platform, I created bcd‑IT University, a strategic education hub offering step-by-step online courses, systems, and real-world guidance to help you grow with confidence.
Here’s what makes this different:
I don’t coach with fluff or trends. I build. I create structure where others throw buzzwords. I support the people doing the real work—with practical systems that actually work.
So, what about you?
Ready to stop winging it and start building your business like the pro you are?
