My journey of learning truly blossomed after becoming a parent. I realized I was uncovering something new every day!
Many parents ask their children about their day, only to receive shrugs or a simple “OK.” To foster deeper connections, I suggested a game: each family member—Mom, Dad, and our two sons—shares something new they learned that day, whether from school, a conversation, something they read, or any newfound knowledge from the day.
We embraced this game at dinner, and it evolved into an enjoyable routine.
We shared insights that ranged from lessons learned at school to business strategies, fun facts, or even jokes. This experience revealed that we truly do learn something new every day. To this day, even though my children our grown, I am reminded to reflect each evening on my own experiences.
